Background and Experience

Mr Koh graduated in 1978 from the then University of Singapore with a degree in Accountancy. He joined one of the leading international (then “Big Eight”') accounting firms immediately after graduation as Graduate Trainee, was promoted to Audit Senior in January 1980 and subsequently promoted to managerial position in April 1983.

Mr Koh's professional work lies in the field of auditing, taxation, general accounting and company secretarial matters. He has gained extensive experience in the audit of a wide range of companies of various sizes, both locally incorporated, Singapore branches of foreign companies and multinational companies, and include companies in the trading, project development, construction, banking and finance, trading, retailing, manufacturing and various other service industries. He has gained extensive experience in servicing clients in the following areas: -

(i) Assisting potential investors in the incorporation of companies and registration of Singapore branches;

(ii) Providing advisory services in personal and corporate tax and accounting matters;

(iii) Auditing the financial statements;

(iv) Providing consultation on company secretarial matters and company law; and

(v) Providing payroll services and general consultation.

Mr Koh is a committee member of SME Tax Committee of The Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals.
